Leaving that room today, we all hugged and cried and held on just a little longer. Will couldn't hold back his tears when he thanked her for saving his life and for helping him live the life that God had for him. He said that he wouldn't change anything about his experience, because it has helped him become who he is today. He's thirteen people, 13! His outlook on life is unlike most teenagers, and I truly believe that is because of his journey.
On top of all this, Will's doctor 's last treatment order was to wean him off his medication! He has had success since being weaned off keto and hasn't had any seizures...so since it has been a year, she thinks it is time to take him off his medication! This was not supposed to happen! When we were first told about his diagnosis, they said that it would not be something he would grow out of, but God had a different plan!
He has to be off medication and any other treatment, while also not having seizures for at least 10 years in order to be deemed cured, but we have no problem waiting! God is so good and will continue to provide!
